Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of formal Radiologic Technology training from AMA-approved school.
• ARRT CT or MRI registration required or to be obtained within one year of employment.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT/MRI equipment per departmental protocol.
• Provides information to patients about their examination or procedure.
• Administers contrast media and IV therapy techniques.
• Positions patient for diagnostic exams and ensures patient safety.
• Reports equipment malfunctions and maintains the work area.
