Job summary

Invision Sally Jobe / Radiology Imaging Associates in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a Part-Time MRI/CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures on a Fri-Sat-Sun 3x10-hour schedule. You will collaborate with the Regional Manager of Clinical Operations and radiology staff to deliver high-quality MRI and CT services.

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) and ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Maintains ARRT continuing education requirements.
• 1–2 years MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI and CT procedures as ordered with high quality and timeliness.
• Escort patients to a treatment area and assist with dressings as needed.
• Complete paperwork to ensure timely delivery of CT services.
• Explain MRI and CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions.
• Practice radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Complete related paperwork and obtain interpretation by the radiologist.
• Conduct quality control measures to monitor machine performance and report malfunctions.
• Focus on customer service and courtesy when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Respond to medical emergencies including CPR.
• Assist patients with positioning on the exam table and prevent falls.

Reporting to Regional Manager of Clinical Operations

Employment Type: Part Time (3x10 hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by providing them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs MRI and CT procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality and timeliness
• Escorts patients to a treatment room and assists with dressings as necessary
• Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services
• Explains MRI and CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
• Completes related paperwork and obtains interpretation by the radiologist
• Conducts quality control measures to monitor machine performance and reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the site manager
• Focuses on customer service and users courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors to maintain a professional atmosphere
• Required to respond to a medical emergency including administering CPR
• Assists patients with positioning on the exam table and may be required to assist patients to prevent falls

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) and (CT) required
• Must maintain and meet continuing education requirement as set forth by the the ARRT
