Job summary

NMC Health plc is actively seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist (MRI) to join the Imaging Department. The role involves delivering patient care across MR, CT, and X-ray modalities, ensuring MRI safety, and educating staff.

The position is hourly/non-exempt and requires ARRT Radiology and MR registrations with Kansas licensure. The role supports a compassionate care team dedicated to safe, high-quality imaging services and patient-centered care in Newton, KS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program required.
• 1+ years of experience as a CT Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across MR, CT, and X-ray modalities.
• Ensure MRI safety protocols are followed and educate patients and staff on MRI safety.
• Make independent decisions while delivering care to diverse patients.
• Lead by example, potentially overseeing modalities and guiding co-workers.
• Utilize clinical expertise to assess, plan, provide, delegate, supervise and evaluate patient care.
• Clearly explain MRI safety basics to patients and staff; demonstrate MRI safety practices.
