Job summary

Javon Bea Hospital—Riverside in Rockford, IL, seeks an MRI Technologist to perform advanced MRI imaging, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety and comfort. You will operate MRI systems, coordinate with radiologists, and participate in education for patients and staff.

The role requires ARRT radiography and CT certification, 2–4 years of technologist experience, and state licensure as applicable. Night/weekend shifts and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Two to four years of experience as a Radiographer.
• ARRT registration in Radiography and CT required.
• Licensure/credentials for Illinois or Wisconsin as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner and related equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients, position them for scans, and minimize anxiety.
• Administer contrast media and manage IV access.
• Corroborate clinical history with radiologist and document findings.
• Maintain MRI safety practices and universal precautions.
