Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for the Weekender shift in Naperville. The part-time position involves operating MRI equipment, positioning patients, and administering contrast as directed by Radiologists. Excellent patient communication and attention to comfort are essential.

You should have an associate degree or higher (preferred), MRI experience, strong computer skills, and CPR certification. ARRT or ARMRIT certification is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
• Previous MRI experience required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot MRI software.
• Advanced protocols in cardiac and functional neuro preferred.
• ARRT(R) or ARMRIT certification required/candidate.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment to obtain images according to Radiologist directions.
• Positions patients and administers contrast media; ensures high quality exams.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
• Delivers customer service with attentive eye contact, body language, and tone of voice.
