Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Fully trained and familiar with MRI safety, achieving a Level 2 designation (or ability to become trained/certified upon hire).
• Demonstrated ability to perform patient care, handle safe transport equipment, and manage administrative workflows within Epic.

Responsibilities

• Screening: Conduct thorough safety screenings and scanning individuals with a metal detector before entry into Zones 3 and 4 of the MRI suite.
• Patient Flow: Optimize patient flow between exams by moving patients, placing them on stretchers/exam tables, and coordinating transport using MRI-compatible equipment.
• Communication: Inform patients of wait times and instructions, make calls, fax, and coordinate care with anesthesia, critical care nurses, and/or pacemaker vendors.
• Clearance Support: Assist with tasks and retrieving information related to obtaining clearance for MRI-conditional implants.
• Administrative Duties: Scan forms and paperwork into Epic and follow general operational instructions from technologists.
• Department Upkeep: Retrieve and stock departmental supplies and replenish linens/gowns.
