Job summary

LRS is seeking a MRF Operator at our facility to safely operate heavy equipment and ensure compliant waste processing. The role reports to the Site Supervisor and requires adherence to safety protocols while maintaining equipment and work areas.

Expect daily inspections, monitoring equipment performance, and coordination with maintenance to address repairs. The position involves potential indoor/outdoor work, varying weather, and proximity to traffic as part of the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• None required
• Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the equipment per company standards to ensure fluid levels are at proper levels and safety devices are functioning properly
• Continuously monitor the performance of the equipment and report any repairs needed to the maintenance department
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Keep machine and cab clean
• Monitor materials coming in and report all unacceptable waste to management
• Maximize truck load weights per DOT regulations
• Perform other job duties as assigned
