Job summary

Qualis LLC in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Mid Range Capability (MRC) team within the STRIKE Project office. You will use subject matter expertise to develop requirements, incorporate new CDD items with traceability and verification, and author specifications and system documents including the Systems Engineering Plan.

You will ensure compliance with PEO policies and lead risk management, digital engineering, MBSE, and MOSA efforts, while supporting briefings and reports

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience supporting engineering for production and production planning in a major defense acquisition program office or OEM.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering processes and procedures as it pertains to weapon systems
• Some travel
• Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance

Qualis LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Mid Range Capability (MRC) team within the STRIKE Project office. You will use your subject matter expertise related to systems engineering to be responsible for requirements development including new CDD incorporation to include traceability and verification. You'll also be responsible for authoring specifications and other system documents such as the Systems Engineering Plan. You will ensure adherence to PEO policies and the MTA acquisition guidance. You will lead the MRC risk management process, as well as the digital engineering, MBSE, and MOSA efforts.

• Provide support to technical evaluations on contractor proposals
• Develop and present briefings and reports to government customer

Required:

• 5 years of experience supporting engineering for production and production planning in a major defense acquisition program office or OEM.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant experience with RCCTO, Army project office, and/or PEO MS.
• Experience preparing briefings and documentation for senior leadership
• Familiar with conducting reviews of entrance and exit criteria
