Job summary

TTC, Inc. seeks a MRAP Transportation & Movement Support Specialist onsite at Langley AFB, VA. You will coordinate transportation, generate movement memorandums, track status, and ensure timely bed-down and documentation for MRAP platforms and MSE.

The role requires DoD transportation management familiarity, strong communication, and collaboration with US Army and US Marines for depot–integration movements, and maintaining FMC status through proper inspections and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' SME experience at a MAJCOM Headquarters (or equivalent) within Vehicle or Materials Management or a WST.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to present briefings to senior leaders.
• Associate degree or five years of transportation management experience.
• Four years' DoD transportation management systems experience in the last eight years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation with losing/gaining field units.
• Generate movement memorandums for government review and historical documentation.
• Track movement status and inform units of departure, arrival, and instructions.
• Access transportation tracking systems for in-transit visibility.
• Ensure platform inspections are conducted and documented before MRAP movements.
• Submit TAC requests for MRAP, MSE, CCI movements and parts.
• Collaborate with US Army and US Marines for MRAP movements between depots and facilities.
• Review LTI workbooks for accuracy before movement funds requests.
• Help develop a Support Agreement for MRAP sustainment and updates.
• Develop fleet-wide movement status reports for leadership.
• Support logistics management and analysis planning for the MRAP program.
• Align with AFPD 10-9 requirements for beddown, training, maintenance, and policy.
• Provide technical review, risk assessment, and configuration control.
• Review projects and ensure timely notifications and updates.
• Collaborate with ACC, AFLCMC, MAJCOM and base leaders for sustainment.
• Analyze MRAP program metrics to optimize weapon system support.
• Monitor monthly MC status and coordinate with field users on shortfalls.
• Coordinate lifecycle management and sustainment issues with AFLCMC/WNZ-MRAP.
• Assist in policy development and maintenance for MRAP systems.
