Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Part-time Technologist Assistant to support technologists and keep imaging schedules running smoothly. The role involves patient escorting, room prep, and maintaining a clean, organized imaging suite. Shifts vary between 3–10 hours, 30 hours weekly.

Required: 16+ years old; preferred: high school diploma or equivalent and enrollment in a Radiologic Technologist program. DailyPay availability and comprehensive benefits offered where eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technologists to keep schedules on time across modalities and exams.
• Greet and escort patients to changing rooms and explain procedures.
• Prepare patient jackets and organize films by date and number.
• Assist with room setup and equipment handling between patients to optimize flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of MRI and patient prep areas.
• Support front office and Medical Records as needed.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Technologists Assistantto join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Technologists Assistant, you willberesponsible for assisting/supporting the Technologists in a variety of ways (based on need), allowing the Technologists patient schedules to remain on time. This role is also responsible for ensuring that the scanning area runs smoothly, is maintained and kept organized.

This is a Part-Time position working 30 hours weekly, shifts will vary between 3-10 hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(70%) Technologist Assistance

• Monitors schedules for all modalities, arthrograms, and image scans, adjusting as necessary and keeping technologists informed of changes.
• Greets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains procedure
• Prepares patient jackets and compiles films putting them together in appropriate jacket according to date and number
• Assists technologists in room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on table, putting previous coil away and changing table sheet
• Prepares the next patient for scanning before the current patient completes their procedure to optimize scheduling.
• Restores and networks all previous exams for next day's returning patients

(20%) Cleaning & Organization

• Stocks and cleans work and control areas and MRI room(s)
• Ensures that all patient imaging areas are stocked and organized in a neat and tidy manner
• Cleans and stocks patient prep room and patient restroom
• Stocks linen and empties laundry at the end of the night
• Organizes and cleans supply closet and computer rooms
• Organizes radiologist reading area after radiologist has left for the day
• Checks with technologists of all modalities, Medical Records and/or Front Office team members to assist with any additional duties as needed

(5%) Other Duties as Assigned

The pay range for this position is $19.50- $22.00 based on direct and relevant experience.
