Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Technologists Assistant to support technologists and help keep the imaging workflow smooth. You will assist with patient preparation, scheduling, and room setup, ensuring a clean, organized MRI and imaging area.

The role runs 2:00pm–10:00pm (Full-Time). 16+ years old required; preferred HS diploma or equivalent and enrollment in a Radiologic Technologist program. Benefits include DailyPay and standard insurance options.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• High School diploma, or equivalent (preferred).
• Currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technologist program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists in scheduling and room setup to keep procedures on time.
• Greet and escort patients, explain procedures, and prepare jackets and films.
• Support scanning workflows between patients to optimize scheduling and maintain orderly work areas.
• Stock and tidy imaging and prep areas, control rooms, and supply closets.
• Coordinate with Medical Records/Front Office for additional duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Technologists Assistant to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Technologists Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting/supporting the Technologists in a variety of ways (based on need), allowing the Technologists patient schedules to remain on time. This role is also responsible for ensuring that the scanning area runs smoothly, is maintained and kept organized.

This is a Full-Time position working 2:00pm - 10:00pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(70%) Technologist Assistance

1. Monitors schedules for all modalities, arthrograms, and image scans, adjusting as necessary and keeping technologists informed of changes.
2. Greets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains procedure
3. Prepares patient jackets and compiles films putting them together in appropriate jacket according to date and number
4. Assists technologists in room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on table, putting previous coil away and changing table sheet
5. Prepares the next patient for scanning before the current patient completes their procedure to optimize scheduling.
6. Restores and networks all previous exams for next day's returning patients

(20%) Cleaning & Organization

1. Stocks and cleans work and control areas and MRI room(s)
2. Ensures that all patient imaging areas are stocked and organized in a neat and tidy manner
3. Cleans and stocks patient prep room and patient restroom
4. Stocks linen and empties laundry at the end of the night
5. Organizes and cleans supply closet and computer rooms
6. Organizes radiologist reading area after radiologist has left for the day
7. Checks with technologists of all modalities, Medical Records and/or Front Office team members to assist with any additional duties as needed

(5%) Other Duties as Assigned

1. Projects, tasks, etc.

The pay range for this position is $19.50- $22.00 based on direct and relevant experience.

Required:

1. Must be 16 years of age

1. High School diploma, or equivalent
2. Currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technologist program
