RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. We aim to innovate in radiology, making it a vital part of diagnosis and treatment. Join us to shine brighter together!

As an MRI Technologist, you will operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, providing patient-centered care with excellent customer service. You will guide patients through the process, addressing questions and concerns about exam procedures.

This is a part-time position (30-39 hours/week), working two 16-hour shifts, including weekends.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Patient MRI Imaging (90%)

• Screens patients for precautions or contradictions, using two identifiers for accuracy.
• Prepares and explains MRI procedures to patients, including positioning.
• Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision, supporting patients throughout.
• Adjusts scan parameters as needed.
• Maintains positive relationships with radiologists, referring providers, and colleagues.
• Follows physician instructions and safety regulations.
• Accurately documents patient records in RIS.
• Ensures a clean, safe work environment.
• Maintains ACR accreditation standards and toolkit.
• Ensures equipment is well-maintained, cleaned, and disinfected.
• Complies with HIPAA guidelines.

1. MRI Department Support (5%)

• Assists with updating imaging protocols and software upgrades.
• Monitors and requests medical supplies as needed.
• Supports training of new staff, sharing expertise.

1. Other Tasks (5%)

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT registered technologist in good standing.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiography program.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience performing MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Preferred:

• Bilingual skills.
