As the MR Excellence Leader for Academics, you will be responsible for ensuring the customer success of our academics through periodic engagement, guided by established policies and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong clinical relationships with top academic medical centers in the market and contribute to building GE’s credibility through excellent customer interaction.
- Engage continuously with key clinical, research, and administrative decision makers to understand objectives and pain points.
- Champion assimilation and use of advanced system features and imaging techniques; optimize adoption and satisfaction.
- Consult with radiologists by disease site on an ongoing basis to optimize image quality.
- Optimize protocols to achieve best possible image quality on scanners.
- Assist in standardization across the installed system base.
- Partner with department leaders to increase efficiency.
- Identify training needs and opportunities among technologists and physicians.
- Assist in introducing new offerings/studies and help customers adopt and advance new product (NPI) features and imaging techniques to meet clinical and research needs.
- Liaise closely with the account team to ensure optimal alignment and communication to drive customer satisfaction.
- Partner with the SBU (Strategic Business Unit) and Modality teams to provide insights of customer learnings and competition, and provide a feedback loop on product performance at assigned academic sites.
- Act as focal point for the modality team, identify customer satisfaction issues, assist in escalations, problem determination, and specialty training requests.
- Establish and drive relations, collaboration, and partnerships with all department/relevant stakeholders; engage with key opinion leaders on progress made and gain consensus on next steps.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent and 5+ years of MRI technical/clinical industry experience, plus ARRT certification.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate to the San Diego area; relocation assistance is available.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time by air or car within the assigned region.
- Demonstrated clinical skills, viewed as a subject matter expert, including advanced applications in the modality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; interested in and apt at close customer interaction.
- Ability to effectively interact with key stakeholders in modality, commercial, and service teams.
- Experience in speaking and presenting materials to a diverse audience.
- Ability to craft well‑written training reports and communications to a diverse constituency; working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
