Job summary

AVIAN in Maryland is seeking an MQ-9 Reaper Air Vehicle Pilot (AVP) to join the Navy/Marine Corps' UX-24 squadron in Patuxent River, Maryland. You will pilot the MQ-9, integrate payloads, and collaborate with aircrew and flight test engineers to ensure high-quality capabilities for warfighters.

Qualifications

Qualified MQ-9 pilot with SLR experience and 1000+ flight hours (manned or unmanned).
500+ PIC hours in medium/high altitude long-endurance UAS.
Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret.

Responsibilities

Act as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of MQ-9 aircraft for launch and recovery.
Coordinate UAS ground and flight operations; plan, brief, and debrief missions.
Define and execute flight plans; review maintenance, weather, and fuel data.
Travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites as needed.
