Job summary

Albers Aerospace in the Philippines is seeking an MQ-9 Launch and Recovery Pilot to support deployed aviation operations as Pilot-in-Command of MQ-9 aircraft for launch and recovery.

The role requires 550 MQ-9 flight hours, an active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one, and willingness to deploy for six months each year. Onsite work with CONUS/OCONUS travel flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• MQ-9 Pilot with AF Form 8, LRE Qualified.
• 550 MQ-9 flight hours.
• Last flight within 12 months.
• Must possess/be able to obtain FAA Class II medical.
• Must possess/be able to obtain a US passport.
• Deploy for at least six months each year.
• Maintaining a DoD Security Clearance is required.
• Prior DoD pilot training or equivalent fixed-wing training.

Responsibilities

• Act as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of MQ-9 aircraft for launch and recovery efforts.
• Coordinate and actively participate in RPA ground and flight operations; mission planning, briefing, debriefing, aircrew resource management, and safety.
• Define, plan, organize, and execute flight plans and schedules; review maintenance logs, weather reports, and forecasts.
• Use Technical Orders and reports to ascertain factors such as weight and balance, fuel, route, schedule, and mechanical reliability.
• Available to conduct 24/7 operations without scheduling restrictions.
• Maintain ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites.
