SAIC seeks an MQ-9 Flight Simulator Field Service Representative (FSR) to provide software and systems support for the MALET JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT) at Nellis Air Force Base, NV. The role includes supporting MJAT, MRLn, JMDS, and MSAT, integrating GOTS/COTS/EOM components, and delivering on-site training.

Qualifications include a BS or 2 years' experience (4 years accepted in lieu), knowledge of IT systems, secure environments, and experience with MQ-9 or similar flight sim tech.

• Ability to read and interpret system diagrams, rack layouts, and cable schematics.

Responsibilities

Description

SAIC is seeking an MQ-9 Flight Simulator Field Service Representative (FSR)to provide software and systems support for the MALET JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT) located at Nellis Air Force Base, NV. The MALET-JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT) is a plug-and-play training capability that converts a tactical MQ-9 Reaper ER Ground Control Station (GCS) into a flight training simulator. The system enables UAS/RPA operators to conduct simulation training as part of initial qualification and follow-on continuation training to maintain proficiency and currency in all required operator tasks. In addition to MJAT support, the FSR will provide software, hardware, and systems support for the JSIL Mission Debrief System (JMDS), the MJAT Rehearsal Local Network (MRLn), the MJAT Stand-alone Trainer (MSAT), and future systems within the MJAT family.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Familiarity with MQ-9 systems, flight simulators, and/or RPA/UAV Ground Control Station (GCS) for mission planning and system troubleshooting


• Experience supporting training systems, simulators, or mission rehearsal environments


• Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and firewalls including configuration, VLANs, routing, and security policies


• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Network Attached Storage (NAS) and domain services


• Proficiency in Windows, RedHat Linux, and VMware virtualization platforms for server administration and support


• Familiarity with Extron hardware/software for classrooms and conference rooms


• Experience with real-time graphics generation using Unreal Engine for simulation, visualization, and virtual environments


• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE) scenario creation software

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI
