Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; CPCU/RPLU studies preferred.
• Active Property & Casualty producers license required.
• 4+ years of Medical Professional Liability underwriting experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes information and exposures to decide on account acceptance or declination.
• Approves applications, renewals, and endorsements within authority; determines rating and premiums.
• Communicates underwriting decisions clearly and documents them accurately.
• Manages territory within guidelines to meet financial objectives.
• Develops relationships with agent/broker partners through effective communication.
• Leads training sessions on underwriting processes as needed.
