Job summary

Beyond Energy Services and Technology is seeking an MPD Supervisor to lead a field team, coordinate with clients, and drive successful Managed Pressure Drilling operations on location. You will oversee installation, troubleshooting, and post-well reporting while guiding on-site personnel and coordinating with technical specialists.

The role requires strong communication, extensive MPD experience, and the ability to train field staff in procedures and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Minimum 7 years oilfield experience and 2 years as an MPD Supervisor.
• MPD-related experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of slinging and lifting overhead loads.
• Understand Process and Information Diagrams and Flow Systems
• Familiar with regulatory code and safety policy.
• Basic understanding of electronics.
• Advanced understanding of mechanics and hydraulics.
• Familiar with drilling issues as they relate to drilling velocity to clean a well.
• Competent with Microsoft Office products.
• Self-directed and demonstrate sound decision making.
• Excellent written and oral skills - must communicate with technical and non-technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field installation and operation of MPD jobs, including pre-planning and logistics, supervision of all on-site personnel, and post-well performance reporting.
• Troubleshoot field operations in operation, maintenance, and repair of MPD equipment.
• Manage client relationships on-site, and demonstrate MPD technology when appropriate.
• Maintain and develop client relationships to optimize service quality, growth, and satisfaction.
• Participate in design and supervision of all MPD field tests.
• Recommend new approaches and specifications for equipment, software and procedures.
• May assist in managing optimum pressure control to achieve drilling objectives.
• May participate in developing technical training programs for field personnel.
