Job summary

newcleo is seeking an experienced ISA Nuclear Safety engineer to support the design of a next-generation MOX fuel fabrication facility in the United States. This role involves applying risk-informed methodologies to ensure compliance with safety regulations and contribute to safety documentation for regulatory engagements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in nuclear engineering, proficiency in nuclear safety principles, and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams across locations. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in nuclear or high-hazard regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of nuclear safety principles and methodologies.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and international engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear safety evaluations using Integrated Safety Analysis methodology.
• Identify and analyze accident sequences and develop IROFS.
• Contribute to licensing documentation and nuclear safety case development.
