Job description

Mowing Foreman

The mowing foreman is looked to as the leader of all mowing crews. They will motivate and coach from a hands‑on perspective. They will be leading by example and demonstrating our core values. New mowing team members will be trained by this person, while ensuring a quality product is delivered safely and efficiently. This position will work closely with the Maintenance Department manager to provide an exceptional experience for our customers and effectively lead the mowing crews to success.

Effectively lead team to deliver a superior service and final product, this will be accomplished by:

• Ensuring quality work is being performed on properties
• Lead and motivate a crew to complete customer properties
• Regular coaching and training of team members
• Collaboration with other mow crews to ensure mowing routes are completed daily
• Communication through written and verbal means
• Coordination with Maintenance Manager on changes to make with routes
• Coordinate with Account Manager on client property needs and recommendations
• Manage the tool/equipment inventories of the crews you supervise
• Ensure that weekly maintenance is completed on equipment
• Correct customer concerns in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Reports to:

• Maintenance Manager

The work environment will consist of:

• Outdoor work in the seasonal elements
  • Moderate to high heat
  • Occasional rain
  • Snow removal in winter months
• Use of equipment to complete jobs
  • Company truck, trailer and various equipment
  • Company Cell phone and computer
  • Other pieces of equipment while in the field

Working Days and Hours:

• Monday through Friday
  • Saturdays as needed
• 7am to 5pm
  • Later as needed due to weather and deadlines
• ***Will need to ensure that all weekly duties are completed

Qualifications
