Expedite Moving, based in Rahway, NJ, is seeking a Moving Foreman to lead on-site crews, protect customers’ belongings, and set the standard for service excellence on every job. You will guide 2–4 movers, manage customer expectations, and coordinate safe, efficient moves of items ranging from furniture to pianos.

Successful candidates have 2+ years in moving with leadership experience, strong communication, and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of moving experience with time spent leading or running a crew.
• Strong communication with customers and crew alike.
• Hands-on skill with TVs, furniture, pianos, safes, and other heavy or awkward items.
• Proper technique for padding, wrapping, and loading a truck to prevent damage.
• Safe handling of high-value or delicate items, including piano moving.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site crew of 2–4 movers, assign roles, set the pace, and adjust plans as needed.
• Own the customer relationship on the job — greet the customer, set expectations, answer questions calmly.
• Perform skilled work: dismount/remount TVs, disassemble/reassemble furniture, move heavy items including pianos and safes.
• Protect goods and home: pad, wrap, and secure items; use floor runners and straps; keep truck secured.
• Run the paperwork: bills of lading, inventory, and condition reports.
• Coach newer movers and model professionalism and hustle.
• Keep equipment ready: ensure truck, dollies, straps, and pads are stocked and clean.
