Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a General Manager Trainee to learn how to run a moving and storage center. You will manage inventory, track equipment, and supervise daily operations to keep facilities profitable and customer-focused.

This role offers hands-on training and real responsibility from day one. The position requires 1-3 years of retail or service management with P&L accountability, strong computer skills, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or service with responsibility for financial results.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with financial data and reports.
• Organizational proficiency and experience managing high-volume operations with P&L accountability.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fleet to deliver clean, well-maintained equipment.
• Track and itemize inventory and monitor expenses.
• Ensure customers receive high-quality care and service.
• Maintain premises security and supervise daily operations.
