Job summary

Flex Moving and Storage is seeking a hands-on Mover/Helper to support loading, unloading, packing, and protecting customer belongings. This in-person role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer service while working with the Field Lead and team members.

You will handle physically demanding tasks, learn proper packing techniques, and maintain organization on-site across locations. Training is provided, and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior moving, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred but not required — training provided.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and peak business days.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and carry furniture, boxes, and other items.
• Pack and protect belongings using blankets, wrap, and straps.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed.
• Follow Field Lead directions to execute move plans efficiently.

Position Overview

As a Mover/Helper at Flex Moving and Storage, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional moving experience for our customers. This role focuses on the physical and operational aspects of moving — loading, unloading, packing, and protecting customer belongings — without driving responsibilities. Movers/Helpers work closely with the Field Lead and other team members to ensure safe, efficient, and professional moves that meet Flex’s service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and carry furniture, boxes, and other household or office items.
• Pack and protect customer belongings using blankets, shrink wrap, straps, and other materials to prevent damage.
• Assist in disassembling and reassembling furniture as needed.
• Follow instructions from the Field Lead to execute move plans efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in trucks, storage units, and customer locations.
• Handle all items with care and respect, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies during moves.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members throughout the job.
• Assist with inventory checks and verification of items being moved.
• Perform basic equipment and supply checks to ensure readiness for each job.

Qualifications
