Job summary

Servpro of New Hanover is seeking Movers/Laborers for the Wilmington location. The role involves packing contents, moving furniture, and cleaning structures and contents after water, fire, or mold damage, and preparing rooms and staging areas for each project.

Responsibilities include coordinating with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production, performing end-of-day cleanup, and loading for the next day.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform end‑of‑day/end‑of‑job cleanup and breakdown, leaving the job site clean and orderly.
• Unload trash and equipment from work vehicles and plan and load for the next day.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Successful completion of a background check with a clear criminal history, as required by law.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
• Ability to repeatedly push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
• Ability to work with and around cleaning agents.
