Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals
• Utilize a variety of techniques to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and overall physical function
• Educate patients and their families on proper exercises to continue progress
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Stay current with advancements and best practices in physical therapy through continuing education
