Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy to assist patients in achieving maximum physical function at the Cambridge location, interpreting evaluations and determining treatment goals and plans. You will administer manual exercises and guide patients in using assistive devices as part of a comprehensive care plan.

The role involves collaborating with nursing staff, documenting progress, and contributing to hospital-wide quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree required and state license
• Internship or apprenticeship experience preferred (1-2 years)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Complete billing sheet accurately by end of day
• Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
• Perform patient assessment and establish a plan of care
• Provide inservice education programs for nursing personnel as needed
• Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation
• Discuss evaluation, goals and treatment with both patient and family
• Participate in Hospital-wide quality process
