Job summary
The Permanente Medical Group in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a BE/BC Movement Neurologist to join our team.
You will provide subspecialty care for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, with DBS management and toxin injections training, and collaborate with our regional neurology and neurosurgery teams in an integrated model of care.
CA medical license eligibility is required.
Qualifications
- Board Certification or Eligibility
- Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA
Responsibilities
- Provide subspecialty care for patients with Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders
- Have expertise in DBS Management as well as training on toxin injections
- Contribute and Partner with our regional team of specialists, including neurosurgeons in an integrated model of care
- Comfortable evaluating and managing patients who may benefit from neuromodulation
- Willing to see general neurology patients and take minimal hospital duty as part of the practice
