Job summary

The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a BE/BC Movement Neurologist to join our team. This position offers subspecialty care for Parkinson's and other movement disorders within a large integrated health system.

Responsibilities include DBS management, toxin injections training, and collaboration with neurosurgeons in an integrated care model. Occasional general neurology duties and light hospital exposure may be required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in neurology with a subspecialty focus in movement disorders.
• Must be eligible for CA medical license or currently licensed in CA.
• Experience or training in DBS management and toxin injections is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide subspecialty care for patients with Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders.
• Have expertise in DBS management as well as training on toxin injections.
• Collaborate with regional team of specialists, including neurosurgeons, in an integrated care model.
• Evaluate and manage patients who may benefit from neuromodulation.
• Possibly see general neurology patients and participate in minimal hospital duties.
