The role emphasizes a balanced practice with 50% movement disorders and 50% general neurology, including DBS programming, botulinum toxin injections, and hospital duties every 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology.
• CA medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Fellowship training in Movement Disorders with DBS and botulinum toxin expertise.
• Willingness to provide hospital-based care with telestroke involvement.

Responsibilities

• Practice split approximately 50% movement disorders and 50% general neurology.
• Hospital duties every 4 weeks with integrated team support.
• DBS programming and botulinum toxin injections as part of patient care.
• Collaborate with Bay Area Movement Disorders Neurologists and refer to functional neurosurgery when needed.
• Support 24/7 telestroke coverage and rapid stroke consultations.

Movement Disorders Neurologist in Santa Rosa, California

We are seeking a fellowship-trained Movement Disorders Neurologist with expertise in movement disorders care, DBS programming, and botulinum toxin injections, with interest in general neurology and hospital-based care with hospital duty every 4 weeks. The role offers local patient care, strong mentorship and collaboration with fellow Bay Area Movement Disorders Neurologists and established referral pathways to robust functional neurosurgery programs in Sacramento and Redwood City. Clinical practice is expected to be approximately 50% movement disorders and 50% general neurology. This position is ideal for a neurologist seeking a broad practice within an integrated and collaborative system that emphasizes high-quality care, physician well-being, and work-life balance. We have 24/7 telestroke coverage.
