Job summary

Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking a full-time Movement Disorders and Neurodegenerative physician to join a seasoned Neurology team in the San Francisco East Bay. The group provides 24/7 inpatient and ER coverage, including a comprehensive stroke center.

The role focuses on Parkinson’s disease and related movement disorders, with opportunities for DBS programming and toxin injections, and patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible
• Active and unrestricted California Medical License
• Current DEA license
• Advanced Parkinson’s experience strongly preferred, including deep brain stimulator programming and botulinum toxin injections for dystonia

Responsibilities

• Care for a large number of patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
• Perform deep brain stimulator programming and botulinum toxin injections.
• Assist in management of patients with dementia of various causes.
• Inpatient and outpatient care with a dedicated Neurology team and teaching of residents (compensated).
