Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Batista Lab at the Ragon Institute seeks a Research Technician II to perform advanced research tasks, supervise technical elements, and support the PI in selecting methodologies.

You will manage mouse colonies, carry out experiments including immunizations and tissue harvesting, and help communicate across lab groups to ensure timely, accurate results in a high-throughput vaccine development setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Experience in a research lab preferred.
• Experience with mouse handling and basic data analysis desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain mice colonies with complex genetic backgrounds.
• Carry out mouse experiments, including immunizations and tissue harvesting.
• Coordinate communication between laboratory staff, vivarium staff and colony management.
