Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a research technician to support the ARCND - Nuber laboratory in Neurology.

You will perform technically advanced work with laboratory animals, including mouse handling, genotyping, and in vivo experiments under supervision. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and breeds commonly used transgenic and knockout mouse lines; performs genotyping as needed.
  • Conducts in vivo experiments, including behavioral assays and routine mouse handling procedures.
  • Performs euthanasia, brain extractions, and downstream molecular analyses (RNA/protein extraction, Western blotting, ELISA).
  • Supports basic cell culture activities as needed (preferred).
  • Coordinates daily experimental schedules and manages data collection and analysis under supervision.
