Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in Michigan is seeking a Tire Technician to join our team and keep vehicles rolling safely. You will mount, dismount, and replace tires, assess tire needs, and perform rotations and balancing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service attitude and communication skills.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to read and verify work orders and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and replace tires on passenger vehicles.
• Assess and troubleshoot tire needs to provide solutions.
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure tools are kept in good condition.

What You'll Do:

• Mount, dismount, and replace tires on passenger vehicles
• Assess and troubleshoot customer tire needs to provide effective solutions
• Inspect vehicles for any additional maintenance or repair needs
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as required
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure proper upkeep of tools and equipment
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager to support operations

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
• Ability to read and verify work order information
