Job summary

Schweitzer invites applications for a full-time role responsible for daily operation of Schweitzer Utility & Water Company’s water and wastewater systems. The position focuses on safe service delivery and regulatory compliance for the local community in the Schweitzer area of Idaho.

We offer certification assistance, on-the-job training, and a supportive team in a mountain resort environment. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment under DEQ standards.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• At least 6 months experience in a related role preferred.
• We will assist in acquiring required state water/wastewater certifications.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and perform basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate water systems for domestic supply and ensure safety.
• Operate wastewater storage lagoons and land application systems.
• Monitor, record, and report production, flow, and compliance data.
• Maintain records to comply with DEQ and other regulations.
• Respond to field maintenance issues and perform equipment installs.
