Job summary

Crystal Mountain Resort in Enumclaw, WA is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic III to inspect and repair buses and heavy equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operation of engines and tools on site.

The role requires 3+ years in auto/equipment maintenance, knowledge of OBD-II, and familiarity with hydraulic and airbrake systems; CDL-B is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years automobile or equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of automotive and mechanic problem solving.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of State and Federal DOT regulations.
• Knowledge of the OBD-II system.
• General knowledge of diagnosis and repair of hydraulic systems.
• Airbrake certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of airbrake systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and engine defects in buses and heavy equipment.
• Diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of engine codes under the OBD-II system.
• Prep vehicles for service, cleaning and inspection, and maintain logs.
• Change oil filters, install antifreeze, snow chains, repair tires, and lubricate components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety/annual inspections; operate tools safely.
