Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington state seeks a Vehicle Mechanic II to inspect, diagnose, and maintain a wide range of company vehicles and equipment. The role requires independent troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems, and involves performing complex repairs with supervision as needed.

The position reports to the Director of Fleet and Facilities within Vehicle Maintenance, offering wage range $32.00–$36.00 per hour DOE & Certification and year-round

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of automobile, diesel, or equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine defects in buses and other automotive equipment.
• Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of engine codes under the OBD-II system.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, braking, fuel, cooling, and drivetrain systems.
• Prep vehicles and equipment for service, including cleaning and washing.
• Ensure proper operation by inspecting parts and performing preventive maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on a range of vehicles and equipment.
• Change oil and filters, install antifreeze and snow chains, repair tires, adjust brakes, and service assemblies.
• Assist with more complex repairs and major component replacement as needed.
• Locate problems by observation and testing; replace defective parts.
• Maintain inventory by checking stock levels and communicating needs.
