Job summary

Fisher Industries is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to run skid steers, loaders, dozers, crushers, or excavators on mountainous terrain. You will service and maintain equipment daily and work nights, weekends, and possibly travel.

Applicants need 3 years on rough terrain, a high school diploma or equivalent, and MSHA Part 46/48 certification or willingness to obtain it. A pre-employment drug test is required and the company pays for certification.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience on mountainous terrain and steep rocky terrain.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • MSHA Part 46/48 certification or willingness to obtain (company pays).
  • Operate equipment to meet project specifications efficiently.
  • Mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Basic welding knowledge and ability to use a cutting torch.
  • Pass pre-employment drug test as required.
  • Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to maintain production goals.
  • Assist with setup and tear down of plants.
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment.
  • Keep equipment and plants clean and organized daily.
  • Perform pre-shift inspections before startup.
  • Follow safety guidelines per MSHA and company policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
