Job summary

Snowbird is seeking a Mountain School Sales & Administration Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Mountain Center, Lesson Center, and rental shop, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and coordinating lesson and guide operations. You will manage bookings, staff, and guest information with RTP, FLAIK, and Workday while partnering across departments.

  • Skiing or snowboarding experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the Mountain Center, Lesson Center, and Mountain School Rental Shop.
  • Coordinate lesson and Mountain Guide operations, including instructor lineups, in partnership with Lesson Supervisors and Mountain School leadership.
  • Manage bookings and guest information through RTP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Address guest concerns, investigate service issues, and coordinate resolutions with appropriate departments.
  • Schedule and support sales and rental shop staff using FLAIK and Workday.
  • Assist with staffing, operational coverage, and overall lesson management support.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for school programs, sponsored groups, PSIA clinics, examinations, and other partner organizations.
  • Coordinate VIP guest experiences and instructor support with Mountain School leadership.
  • Oversee rental equipment inventories and departmental uniform distribution.
  • Maintain guest check-in areas, fencing, signage, and operational setup.
  • Update and maintain standard operating procedures, training resources, and operational documentation.
  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support for team members.
  • Support all payroll administration, reporting, system maintenance, and helpdesk coordination.
  • Act as a resource for guests, instructors, and employees by providing operational guidance and support.
  • Manage Mountain School social media content in accordance with department standards.
  • Deliver exceptional service to guests of all ages while identifying opportunities to improve the guest experience.
  • Assume operational and leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Business Manager or Senior Manager of Sales & Administration.
  • Be available for early canyon travel, overnight resort stays, and a variety of indoor and outdoor winter work environments.

Snowbird is a unique resort with distinct summer and winter seasons and offers full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.

TITLE: Mountain School Supervisor - Sales & Administration LOCATION: Snowbird STATUS: Seasonal, Full-time, Salaried SCHEDULE: Variable Winter Season, typically November 1st to May 1st (subject to operational needs). Five days per week across a seven-day schedule. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and any day of the week as needed. Typical shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

SUMMARY The Mountain School Sales & Administration Supervisor oversees the daily operations of Mountain School sales, rentals, guest services, and base facilities. As a member of the Mountain School leadership team, this position supports the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while supervising operational teams, coordinating lesson and guide operations, and ensuring efficient service across Mountain School locations. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales & Administration, this role works closely with instructors, guides, supervisors, and other resort departments to support daily operations, resolve guest issues, and maintain high standards of service. The position collaborates regularly with Retail, Parking, Lifts, Ski Patrol, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Village Operations, Information Systems, Accounting, and other Snowbird departments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
