Job summary

The Retreat on Charleston Peak is seeking a General Manager to lead a distinctive Mount Charleston property with multiple revenue streams including rooms, F&B, weddings, and events. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability and growth.

This hands‑on leadership role requires traversing daily operations, strategy, and team development. You’ll report to Lark Hotels and bring ownership, accountability, and a coaching mindset to the table.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or better in Hospitality and Resort Management or related field.
• Must be able to work in the United States.
• Significant hotel leadership experience and strong understanding of full‑service hospitality operations.
• Work Card/Sheriff Card, TAM, and Food Safety Manager certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations, Food & Beverage, weddings, and special events while driving guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Develop and monitor annual business plans, budgets, staffing strategies, and capital improvement plans.
• Manage payroll, purchasing, inventory, and operating expenses with a focus on efficient labor use.
• Partner with Revenue Management and Sales & Marketing to optimize revenue and market share.
• Ensure site cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and guest experience standards are consistently high.
• Lead, develop, and hold department heads and associates accountable for performance.
