Job summary
Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a Paramedic to provide emergency medical care on the mountain during the summer season. You will respond to injuries, triage patients, coordinate transport, and support safety operations while enjoying on-mountain housing and perks.
The role requires WV EMT-Paramedic certification with ACLS/PHTLS, current CPR, and strong skiing or snowboarding skills; flexibility to work 9-11 months with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- WV EMT-Paramedic with ACLS/PHTLS.
- Outdoor Emergency Care certification.
- Healthcare Provider CPR card.
- Advanced skier/snowboarder preferred.
Responsibilities
- Master first aid equipment and triage room supplies with daily checks.
- Follow paramedic protocols and assist local EMS agencies.
- Greet/triage patients and coordinate transport by ambulance or patrol vehicles.
- Inspect slopes, monitor transport systems, report hazards and closures.
- Assist with evacuations and document incidents.
- Maintain records and communicate with team members and guests.
