Snowshoe Mountain is seeking seasonal ski patrol staff to ensure guest safety and provide emergency care on the mountain. Responsibilities include first aid, coordinating transport, and enforcing safety codes while maintaining high standards on ski lifts and trails.

On-mountain housing is available. Pay is $17–$19 per hour based on experience and education, with start dates from late November to early December for the season.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) or EMT certification.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Must pass Snowshoe Driving Program on arrival.
• Minimum 3 years skiing/riding experience; Level 2/3 positions available.

Responsabilités

• Provide guest safety and emergency care on the mountain.
• Administer first aid and coordinate transport for injuries.
• Enforce safety codes and assist with safety communications.
• Prepare trails and ensure safe conditions before opening.
• Inspect and monitor ski lift terminals and equipment.
• Assist with guest service at lift terminals and ticket checks.
• Coordinate evacuations and emergency responses as needed.
