Job summary

HoliMont Ski Area is seeking a Mountain Operations Tech to maintain snowmaking and related equipment, lead the snowmaking crew, and support on-hill operations. The role involves learning water pumping processes, capital project involvement, and working across slopes and trails in all weather conditions.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience, plus equipment operation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and equipment operation is required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred for leading seasonal staff.
• Strong communication and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on snowmaking and related equipment.
• Assist with capital projects and on-hill maintenance.
• Operate snowmaking equipment and other machinery (UTV, Trucks, Tractors).
• Lead and supervise part-time seasonal employees during snowmaking season.
• Work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
