Job summary
Mammoth Mountain, part of Alterra Mountain Company, is hiring for year-round grounds tasks in the mountain environment. You will work with Maintenance staff on common areas and rental units, handling simple repairs and seasonal duties. The role includes snow removal in winter and gardening in summer, with duties like floor care and pool/spa management.
The position offers an hourly wage and on-site work in Mammoth Lakes, CA, with opportunities to learn and grow through on-the-job training.
Qualifications
- Some knowledge of minor repairs to buildings and practical operating knowledge.
- Most tasks are simple; prior related job experience helpful but not required.
- Able to lift in the 20-50 lb range when needed and follow instructions.
Responsibilities
- Perform grounds tasks in coordination with Maintenance personnel in common areas and rentals.
- Winter snow removal; summer gardening and irrigation tasks.
- Maintain common areas: sweeping, scrubbing, trash removal, parking control, and pool/spa openings and closings.
