Job summary

Mt. Baker Ski Area, Inc. is seeking an Employee Lodge Supervisor to oversee the on-mountain Employee Lodge, including housing coordination, staffing, training, scheduling, and resident support, with overnight on-call duties and on-site dorm housing.

You will lead a team, enforce safety and housing policies, coordinate with mountain operations, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace in a remote mountain setting. This seasonal position requires strong judgment and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • 21 years or older
  • CPR and AED certification upon employment
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification upon employment
  • Previous kitchen experience
  • Willingness to learn and be flexible
  • Able to work independently or with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operation, organization, and living environment of the Employee Lodge.
  • Manage lodge operations including resident support, room assignments, cleanliness, inventory, and facility needs.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Employee Lodge residents and overnight concerns.
  • Enforce housing policies, safety practices, and company procedures with empathy and accountability.
  • Coordinate communication between Employee Lodge operations and other departments.
  • Hire, onboard, train, schedule, and supervise Employee Lodge staff.
