Job summary

Ski Utah is seeking a Mountain Electrician Level I for year-round, full-time work to support lifts, snowmaking, lodges, and mountain electrical utilities.

You will gain hands-on experience while learning NEC requirements, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with installations and repairs across the resort. Safety and collaboration are core priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn the electrical trade.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and safely perform work under the direction of experienced electricians.
• Ability to read and understand electrical prints, diagrams, manuals, and training materials.
• Ability to work at various heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Availability to participate in an on-call rotation as training and experience allow.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently as skills and experience develop.

Responsibilities

Description

Summary

Year-round, full-time position. As a Mountain Electrician Level I, you will work alongside experienced electricians to support the operation and maintenance of lifts, snowmaking systems, lodges, and other mountain electrical utilities. This position provides an opportunity to develop your electrical skills through hands-on training and experience while learning the unique electrical systems and equipment used throughout the resort.

Responsibilities will include assisting with preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and general electrical work while following established safety procedures and NEC requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

Assist experienced electricians with electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
