Trek Bicycle seeks an experienced mountain bike trails builder to develop, maintain, and grow Trek's private trail system at our global headquarters in Waterloo, Wisconsin. The role requires hands-on work, safety focus, and the ability to manage multiple trail projects with independence.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, understands mountain bike culture, and can operate chainsaws, excavators, and power tools while maintaining equipment and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in mountain bike trail building and maintenance.
• Ability to operate and maintain heavy trail-building equipment safely.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve approximately 15 miles of mountain bike trails.
• Design, build, and expand trail systems on existing and future properties.
• Perform trail inspections and address safety, erosion, and maintenance needs.
• Maintain grounds and outdoor gathering areas, including the barn and firepit.
• Operate and service equipment such as mini-excavators, mowers, tractors, and trail vehicles.
• Coordinate with events team and internal partners for trail-related operations.
