Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a moulding technician to perform tasks in the blade moulding process for its Onshore Wind business. Responsibilities include applying gel coat, laying glass and foam, assembling root plate with bushings, laying profiles and bagging over shells, and managing the infusion process with temperature checks and troubleshooting.

Position shift is Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm. Base pay for U.S. candidates is $22.88-$27.50 per hour, with DOQ/DOE consideration and standard company

Qualifications

Ability to lift or carry objects up to 40 lbs.
Ability to push/pull heavy objects.
Ability to stand on concrete floors for extended periods.
Ability to work with hands for extended periods.
Ability to operate basic hand and power tools and heavy machinery.
Requires respirator usage.

Responsibilities

Perform moulding tasks following work instructions.
Apply gel coat, lay glass and foam, smooth wrinkles and trim glass.
Assemble root plate with bushings.
Lay profiles and place bag over shell.
Complete the infusion process – vacuum check, begin infusion, troubleshoot and monitor temperatures.
Wear PPE and follow health and safety guidelines.
Maintain 5s standards.
