Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States is seeking a moulding technician to support blade manufacturing. You will perform moulding tasks, apply gel coat, lay glass and foam, smooth wrinkles and trim glass, and assemble components for infusion.

The role requires physical stamina, tool handling, respirator use, and adherence to health, safety and 5S standards. Shift is Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift or carry objects up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull heavy objects.
• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Ability to work with hands for an extended period.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Requires usage of respirator.

Responsibilities

• Perform moulding tasks following work instructions.
• Apply gel coat, lay glass and foam, smooth wrinkles and trim glass.
• Assemble root plate with bushings.
• Lay profiles and place bag over shell.
• Complete the infusion process – vacuum check, begin infusion, trouble shoot and take temperatures for remainder of process.
• Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5s standards.
