Carter Custom Millwork (a division of Carter Lumber) is seeking a Production Specialist for the Moulding Department to assemble wood components to exact specifications and maintain quality. You’ll schedule and track work orders, operate moulding equipment, and ensure components are stored properly.

Qualifications

• Experience with moulding machines and woodworking tools.
• Knowledge of general manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work repetitiously and at a fast pace.

• Basic understanding of construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes moulding work orders to confirm correct materials and specifications.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts of moulded components and raw materials.
• Sets up moulding machines and work area to match production needs.
• Performs repetitive moulding and finishing tasks.
• Uses hand tools and measuring devices to size, fit, and inspect wood components.
• Keeps production on track and adjusts work to meet daily goals while maintaining quality.
• Adheres to safety requirements by operating equipment and handling material safely.
