Job summary

Carter Custom Millwork in Kentucky is seeking a Production Specialist for the Moulding Department to assemble wood components accurately and ensure quality products. You will schedule and track work orders, operate moulding equipment, and store components to specification.

Qualifications

• Experience with moulding machines, woodworking tools, and general manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge and expertise in the use of a variety of tools.
• Ability to do repetitious work and must be able to work at a fast pace.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and analyze moulding work orders to confirm correct materials and specifications.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts of moulded components and raw materials.
• Sets up moulding machines and work area to match production needs.
• Performs repetitive moulding and finishing tasks.
• Uses hand tools and measuring devices to size, fit, and inspect wood components.
• Keeps production on track and adjusts work to meet daily goals while maintaining quality.
• Adheres to safety requirements by operating equipment and handling material in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Acknowledges and reports any defects or safety issues to supervisor immediately.
